What a blessed year we have had and we have so much to be thankful for. The biggest is, of course, our 2 precious boys!
We had a wonderful first thanksgiving with Cade and Bryce! We wanted to start a tradition and every year on the day before Thanksgiving by having a family day. This year, we just went to the Gaylord to look at Christmas decorations and eat lunch.

The waiter was soooo slow at lunch that by the time we were finished, the boys were very fussy. We tried to walk around the Gaylord more thinking that maybe they would settle down and we would be able to take pictures, but it didn't work, so we headed home. Oh well, maybe we will get pictures next year.

On Thanksgiving day, we went to my parents for dinner. My brother, Jon, came in town, so it was great to spend the day with him too. Our meal was so yummy, my mom did a great job! The boys even tried a little turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and noodles.

My dad smoked the turkey this year, it was so good!

At dinner... the only way the boys would look at the camera was for my dad to stand behind it.
A very happy Thanksgiving!
