Staycation!

Kevin took his 9 days of vacation last week, so we decided to do a staycation!

Monday:

We didn't take any pictures, but we had a great day. We took the boys to Cabela's just to look around and then got some frozen yogurt at Blue Cherry in Keller.

Tuesday:

We took the boys to the Fort Worth Science and History Museum. It was still a little old for them, but I still think they had a good time.

Wednesday:

Neither Kevin or I had ever been to the Children's Aquarium at Fair Park, so we decided to check it out. It was reallyl small, but the boys really enjoyed looking at all of the fish.

While we were in Dallas, Kevin really wanted to find Mickey Mantle's grave. It took a little time to find it, but we did!

Thursday:

Thursday was the only day during Kevin's vacation that the Rangers were not playing. I thought that taking the tour of the Ballpark would be fun and that we would get to see the locker room. Well, if the Rangers are in town, they don't let a tour in the locker room in case there are some players hanging out in there. Oh well... we still had fun. We did the last tour of the day so it was just us, the boys, and 2 other people! We got to go in the dugout, see the media room, indoor batting cages, press box, and a suite.

Friday-Monday:

The rest of Kevin's vacation, we just hung out and played. We had a few showings, so we just ran errands. On Saturday, Kevin and I went to a Rangers game (which they were beaten badly) and then got to see Robert Earl Keen perform after the game!

Tuesday:

Kevin's last day of vacation :( We decided to go down to the Stockyards for lunch and shopping. We ate at Joe T. Garcia's and then just walked around in the shops.
